A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION RELATING TO SENTENCING

Be it resolved by the United States President, the United States Senate, the United States House of Representatives concurring:

  1. Under the power of the referendum, as vested in the Legislature, the following measure, relating to sentencing, is enacted to become valid as a law on proclamation of the President of the United States of America and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the United States Vice President acting as President of the Senate:

AN ACT

AMENDING TITLE ____________, CHAPTER ________, UNITED STATES REVISED STATUTES, BY ADDING SECTION ________________; RELATING TO SENTENCING.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the United States:

Section _____. Title _____, Chapter ______,  United States Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section ________________, to read:

 Child sex trafficking; felony; natural life; sentencing

 NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER LAW, A PERSON CONVICTED OF A FELONY OFFENSE OF CHILD SEX TRAFFICKING PURSUANT TO SECTION ____________, THE PERSON SHALL BE SENTENCED TO CAPITAL PUNISHMENT. THE EXECUTION OF SENTENCE SHALL OCCUR WITHIN 30 CALENDER DAYS FROM THE DAY OF SENTENCING. A PERSON SENTENCED TO CAPITAL PUNISHMENT UNDER THIS STATUE IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ANY FORM OF RELEASE INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PAROLE, COMMUNITCATION, OR PARDON. NO PLEA AGREEMENT OR NEGOTIATED REDUCTION OF CHARGES SHALL BE ACCEPTD BY THE COURT FOR INDIVIDUALS CHARGED UNDER THIS STATUE.  ALL MOTIONS OR REQUESTS TO EXTEND DUE PROCESS SHALL BE RESTRICTED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER THE LAW, INSANITY WILL NOT BE AN ACCEPTABLE DEFENSE ENSURING SWIFT AND EFFICIENT ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE.

  • The Speaker of the House of Representatives shall submit this proposition to voters at the next general election as provided by article _______, part _______, section ________, United States Constitution.

Be it resolved by the United States President, the United States Senate, the United States House of Representatives concurring:

1.         Under the power of the referendum, as vested in the Legislature, the following measure, relating to definition of sex trafficking, is enacted to become valid as a law on proclamation of the United States, the United States Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the United States Vice President acting as President of the Senate:

AN ACT

AMENDING TITLE ____________, CHAPTER ________, UNITED STATES REVISED STATUTES, BY ADDING SECTION ________________; RELATING TO CHILD SEX TRAFFICKING.

NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER LAW, THE DEFINITION OF CHILD SEX TRAFFICKING AS IT RELATES TO S.C.R. 107-108, UNITED STATES REVISED STATUTES, BY ADDING SECTION ________________; SHALL BE AMENDED TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO, ANY NATURAL PERSON, LEGAL ENTITY, AND OR GOVERNMENT BODY THAT KNOWINGLY ASSISTES OR ENHANCES IN ANY WAY THE TASKS OF A CHILD SEX TRAFFICKER.

  • The Speaker of the House of Representatives shall submit this proposition to voters at the next general election as provided by article _______, part _______, section ________, United States Constitution.
